6.9.2008 - If you've noticed there're less
shows coming up than usual, it's because we've been spending a
lot of time writing and demo-ing: some new things, and some old things we had to put on hold while we were playing so often. We spent the last weekend in the studio, and we hope to share one of the songs with you soon, it's a cover tune. In the mean time, here's an article/interview on us that ran a few weeks ago, give it a read. Make sure you make it to some of the shows we've got coming up!
4.21.2008 - The documentary titled "If We Never Stop Moving..." is now available! It's a short length video based on
interviews and live footage of Chris Batten and The Woods taken shortly after the release of the EP bearing the same title. Watch it FREE on YouTube, or click on the 'video' tab up top, enjoy!
4.1.2008 - We received the most votes from the last
Fearless Music TV
show and they aired another one of our songs, our newest and unreleased song "A Little More Time." Watch the full song here. Thanks to everyone who voted, we were in West Virginia playing the night it aired, and were pumped when we found out we got the most votes, your
unending support is amazing and we appreciate it.

3.18.2008 - This weeks Fearless Music TV will feature Chris Batten & The Woods' performance of "Swagger." It airs Saturday night (3/22) at 12:30 AM on FOX 5 in NYC and is syndicated nationally, check your local listings or check this

3.13.2008 - NOTE!!! The show this weekend in
Trenton is Saturday the 15th, NOT Friday! We'll be playing 2 full sets of everything we know and a few things we don't, so come out. There're some cool shows lined up the next few months, next week is a big benefit for Darfur and a date at
World Cafe Live in Philly with our friends Pawnshop Roses for their CD release party. Then we're off to
West Virginia and the Boston area, followed by some
NJ/NYC dates.
2.27.2008 - So the Fearless
Music TV taping was last week and it went great. We fired through 4 songs live,
1 of which will end up on the tv show (you'll know when as soon as we know), and probably
1 other one will end up on their webpage.

2.6.2008 - Cool feature in this weeks Aquarian,
they had some nice things to say about us in their unsigned artist spotlight, check it out.
We're staying local this month, got some cool NY/NJ shows you
should make it out to. Next Monday we're filming for an
episode of FOX's Fearless
Music, which should air in a month or so (it's a cool
music program that comes on after MAD TV Saturday nights).
Look out for some Boston and West Virginia dates soon, along
with a new 7 minute documentary that should be finished
shortly.
1.8.2008 - Two new reviews in the press section from AimeStreet.com and IndieInTune.com.
Check out the shows in north and south Jersey this month, plus a return to Philly.
CB&TW has remained in the top 3 on the Reverb Nation
alternative charts since hitting number 1 over a month ago.

#24 overall (out of over 100,000 bands!)
Its like David giving Goliath a beatin': we've surpassed huge bands like Snow Patrol, Wolfmother, Jack Johnson, Gnarles
Barkley... anyway, we appreciate all the support from YOU GUYS that
helped bring us up there, THANKS!
12.02.2007 - The mailing list will now be run
through ReverbNation to better protect your info, plus you can choose to enter
details such as your location/age and only get mailings
relevant to you (like if you're 19 in Wyoming, you won't get
an email for our 21+ show in Boston, got me?) Anyway, you'll

11.26.2007 - "Gone For Good," the first song on the new EP, is now streaming on the webpage and myspace, dig it! The street team page has also been updated, with new info, web banners and goodies.
The return to NYC is this Friday, for what is sure to be a
good time at a great venue.

10.29.2007 - Welcome to the new webpage, there's lots of new content here so check it all out, especially the new song in the music player called "Lions". This is 1 of the 5 songs that will be on the new EP "If We Never Stop Moving," which will be available through iTunes and other online stores 2 weeks from now. The first CB&TW show will be November 9th at the Court Tavern in New Brunswick, followed by many more!
9.13.2007 - We'd like to welcome our new drummer Mike A'ddesso. He just moved back to NJ from Boston after finishing up school at Berklee. We'll be rehearsing with plans to be playing live again this fall. We've also been finishing up our new
EP (we decided to add a 5th song), should be out in a few
months.

currently looking for a new drummer, if you or anyone you know are interseted, contact us! We'll be booking shows again by the time fall comes.
We're also recording songs for an EP that will be released
later this year.

Check out our version of Rutger's alma mater, "On the Banks of the Old Raritan" on our myspace. We recorded it for a TV show that never got off the ground, so we put it up there as a free download, hope you enjoy. Tell people about it, it's been getting some major radio play.

called Sad Songs. It's also been getting some play on XM, so if you're a listener, call up and request it on channel 43. We also just launched a street team, help us out and JOIN! Some short tours coming up, hope to see you out there!

Booking some good shows for this Fall, including a showcase at the
Dewey Beach Music Conference in DE, some NJ and NY stops, a trip back
up to MA and CT, plus lots more. Working on lots of new songs, demo-ing
some stuff out, hopefully we can share it with you all soon.
